The only Macedonian party in Albania – Macedonian Alliance for European Integration, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the birth of Spase Mazenkovski and October 11 – the Day of the Uprising of the Macedonian People, in its premises in Pustec, organizes the promotion of the first volume “Collected Works” of Spase Mazenkovski which are published for the first time in the Macedonian language.
The publisher of the book is the “Menora” printing house, and the promoter of the book was Prof. Dr. Katerina Todoroska.
Appropriate speeches at the promotion of the life and work of Spase Mazenkovski were given by the daughter of Spase Mazenkovski – Eleonora Mazenkovska Stojan, the president of the Macedonian Party in Albania Vasil Sterjovski, the mayor of the municipality of Pustec Pali Kolefski, the editor of Macedonian Radio in Australia “Tripati Zet” Ico Najdoski, the former mayor of the municipality of Pustec Edmond Temelko, the president of the World Macedonian Congress Todor Petrov, the journalist Kiril Dobrushevski from Bitola and the councilor in the municipality of Pustec Eftim Mitrevski.
All the speakers evoked memories of the life of Spase Mazenkovski and his works.
The daughter of the late Spase Mazenkovski, Eleonora Mazenkovska Stojan, expressed her gratitude to Prof. Dr. Katerina Todoroska, who accepted to process and publish the manuscripts of the unpublished works of Spase Mazenkovski. Prof. Dr. Katerina Todoroska informs that further volumes of the manuscripts of Spase Mazenkovski are to be expected, which will be published additionally, for which the public will be notified in due time.
The attendees accepted the initiative to organize a traditional annual cultural event that would be organized every year in Pustec, with literary readings from the works of Spase Mazenkovski and Sterjo Spasse.
A delegation from the organizers of the promotion laid fresh flowers and lit candles on the grave of Spase Mazenkovski in his hometown Leska, and visited his wife Natasha Mazenkovski and stayed in conversation with her.
